Puri Metamba – Bali is a place where you can relax, revive, reinvigorate, and reinvent yourself away from the stress of your life in the modern world.

Puri Metamba – House of Healing Bali is in the village of Bona, East Bali.

From our jungle beginnings in 2008 to our beautiful home set amongst rice fields with views to Mount Agung and to the sea at Nusa Penida, this home is a place where you can unwind and receive the energy from the land.

Puri Metamba -Bali was designed by Kusumah de Jong and built by the local builders in Bona. The house has been designed to take in the beautiful vista views as well as the delicate breeze from the across the rice fields.

You will have full access to the whole house except for the owner’s bedroom above the kitchen. All other areas are available for your enjoyment and relaxation needs.

Bona is renowned for its quiet healing surrounded by nature for you to enjoy. It is the home of the Kecak dance (the original form) and there are plenty of local healers that can assist you with your healing journey.

At Healing Homestay – Puri Metamba, you will have a comfortable air conditioned bedroom with an en suite and amazing views to wake up to. A swimming pool to jump into when you feel the need, space to meditate, get a massage or simply do nothing.

We can also arrange transport and a local guide for you to transport you to temples, restaurants, and markets in the area nearby.

There are plenty of local tourist attractions nearby such as Taman Safari Bali Adventure Park, Kemenuh Butterfly Park, Keramas Surf Beach, Blangsinga Waterfall, Goa Gagah, Tampak Siring, Taro Elephant Safari Park, Ubud for shopping, and amazing beaches all within 5 to 20 minutes away.

We have close connections with some of the local families and you will be able to immerse yourself into village life and traditions, if you so choose. You can participate in local ceremonies, visit the nearby Temple, and even have the luxury of a personal Masseuse. It’s up to you and what you wish to do and gain from your stay at Puri Metamba.

Rooms

Dalem Jelantik Room is an air-conditioned room with Double sized bed, ensuite and a single trundle bed available for use with spectacular garden and village views.

Gunung Agung Room is an air-conditioned room with Queen sized bed, ensuite and a single trundle bed available for use with amazing views across from Mount Agung to the sea.
